Our experience spans over a quarter century as former owners and operator of The Patio Restaurant and Banquet Center at 7706 Broadway in Merrillville. We have also been the caterer of choice for two additional facilities in the Merrillville area, the elegant Croatian Center and the renown Hellenic Center. When the community and businesses of Northwest Indiana had a demand for additional banquet and meeting facilities, we listened and took our many years of experience and success to undertake the building of The Avalon Manor.

Our backyard is beautiful! We are located on protected wetlands, so the scenery is natural and lush. It is something our guests would never expect, being situated on a main road like Route 30 (East Lincoln Highway). Each ballroom includes patio doors leading out to this peaceful and pristine environment for guests to enjoy the fresh air and a quieter area to mingle.
